With aims to strengthen engagement and cooperation on projects to promote commercial linkages between United States exporters and Hong Kong companies, the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA) signed a partnership agreement with the U.S. Commercial Service on April 30, 2019. Activities planned under the new partnership agreement include: (1) investment missions to bring Hong Kong electronics companies to the United States to explore investment opportunities; (2) trade missions to bring U.S. suppliers to the Hong Kong market; (3) seminars and webinars to connect U.S. and Hong Kong companies in the electronics sector; and (4) business matchmaking meetings between U.S. electronics companies, members of HKEIA, and other stakeholders in the market.
