The HKEIA™ participated in Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in Las Vegas on January 8 to 11, 2019. According to Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES was received a new record number of more than 4,500 exhibitors showcased including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more across the largest show floor in CES with 2.9 million net square feet of exhibit space. A conference program with more than 250 conference sessions and more than 180K attendees from 150 countries. More than 1,200 startups participating with about 20,000 products launching in Eureka Park.

This year’s CES featured a number of state-of-the-art technologies and revealed a number of technology trends, mainly AI (Artificial Intelligence), 5G ecosystem, Self-driving technology, Sports technology, VR/ AR (Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality), Digital health and Resilient technologies.
In addition, the HKEIA™ attended the World Electronics Forum (WEF) Interim Meeting for exchanging the information. The coming WEF will be held in Adelaide, Australia on 4 to 7 December 2019.
