HKEIA & HKSTP attend the Intersolar Europe 2010 - The World's Largest Exhibition for the Solar Industry

The HKEIA & HKSTP organized a visit to Germany to learn more about the latest development in solar PV industry in Europe. The Hong Kong delegation attended the Intersloar Europe 2010 and visited 2 famous solar PV industries (SMA Solar Technology AG、Leybold Optics) during 6-11 Jun 2010.

 

Before the visit, the delegation attended a business luncheon jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Berlin, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in Frankfurt. The guest speaker, Mr Edward Yau, the Secretary for the Environment Bureau, HKSAR, briefed German business and community leaders on the latest developments in enhancing energy efficiency in Hong Kong that will make the city greener.

 

 

Intersolar Europe is the world?s largest exhibition for the solar industry. This year, they recorded around 72,000 visitors from around 150 nations visited Intersolar Europe at the New Munich Trade Fair Center and 1,880 exhibitors presented their products and services on 134,000 m? of exhibition area covering twelve halls and the connected outdoor area.
