HKEIA organized the World of Photovoltaics Conference

The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA), the Hong Kong Sciences Parks (HKSTP) and the 3S Swiss Solar Systems AG organized the "World of Photovoltaics Conference--Opportunities and Challenges of the Asian Photovoltaic Industry--Interactive exchanges on technical challenges and market conditions" on 14 - 15 October, 2009 during Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia 2009. Leading players from around the world provided speech on development of Photovoltaics and business. Over 200 guests attended the 2 days conference. The Conference was co-organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and MMI Asia Pte Ltd. InvestHK, HKSAR was the sponsor of the event.

The Fair also highlight a special section for the Photovoltaics: the new World of Solar- Photovoltaic Energy zone, focusing on trends in the fast-growing solar business.
