2009 HKEIA Annual General Meeting
The HKEIA Annual General Meeting Luncheon has fully completed on 23 July 2009 at Hotel Nikko Hongkong. Altogether 160 guests and members packed the Grand Ballroom. The result of the 2009-2011 HKEIA Office Bearer are as follow:

Prof. K.B. Chan, M.H., Chairman of the HKEIA reported and gave assessment from 2008 to 2009. Facing the financial crisis, Prof. Chan encouraged all industry must unite together, reinforce cooperation and understanding to mitigate the effect of the crisis. We have invited the honorable Dr Kitty Poon Kit, Under Secretary for the Environment as keynote speaker.
Besides, Mr. Cheng Kit was one of the HKEIA founding members and he was elected Vice-Chairman and Treasurer from 1990. He relieved to be the Office Bearer and he re-joined the Executive Committee this year.
Finally, Prof. Chan introduced our new CEO, Mr. Basil Wai to all members and friends. Mr. Basil Wai joined the HKEIA last year. Prof. Chan wished all members of the Association will give Mr. Wai and his team all the necessary support to achieve the Association's goals and objectives.
