HKEIA/FMM Executive Luncheon
Today we are witnessing an unprecedented intersection of the information economy and globalization. Manufacturers are going global and with the good use of information technology, some manufacturers have successfully gone virtual which have enabled them to respond promptly to market changes (competition, labor, booms and busts, etc) as well as establish long-standing two-way relationship with their customers and suppliers alike.
In order to make a clear concept to manufacturers, the HKEIA and the Federation of Hong Kong Machinery and Metal Industries (FMM) jointly organized an Executive Luncheon seminar in 13th June 2008 at the Sheraton Hong Kong.
We are pleased to have invited two distinguished speakers - Professor K. B. Chan, Chairman of HKEIA and Mr. Scott Hopkins from IBM in the Americas to discuss how manufacturers can march with times and learn about the next wave in virtual manufacturing.
